Have you ever had one of those seemingly random moments that changed the course of your life? Back in 2009, I was a busy entrepreneur ; mother of 3 boys; and my second marriage was failing. Life felt like a series of unfortunate events with no end . As I was driving in my car, the song ‘Going through the Motions’ came on with the following lyrics:
This might hurt, it's not safe
But I know that I've gotta make a change
I don't care if I break,
At least I'll be feeling something
'Cause just okay is not enough
Help me fight through the nothingness of life
I don't wanna go through the motions
I don't wanna go one more day

It felt as if all the breath left my body and I realized that is Exactly what I was doing!
I was:
Unfullfilled
Disengaged
Overwhelmed
Anxiety ridden
Lacking in creativity
And simply just surviving instead of Thriving!
This realization began a long journey of self reflection where I uncovered a few truths:
I was letting other people’s agendas run my life
I didn’t know what my core values were
I was talking to myself in a way I would Never talk to a friend
In becoming a Certified Life Coach I’ve learned the steps to Renew my way of thinking, create action plans, and design a life better than I could have ever imagined! My mission is to share everything I’ve learned in order for you to have the tools and support to Rise into the amazing life God has in store!
My values are faith based.
What does that mean for you? As a follower of Jesus, I bring the values of integrity, truthfulness, honesty, grace and mercy into our coaching relationship. These values support my clients in magnificent ways, however, I would never try to convert and cajole. Coaching would not be worth your investment without a high degree of trust.
